Falling in Love

Acceptance involves a loss of failure,

as when light loses darkness,

health loses one germ after another,

peace loses the possibility of war and thank God.

I accept these words that appear one by one

thereby losing confusion and an absence of truth.

I accept stars on warm summer nights

along with your hand holding mine

and I give up so much.
